Quote of the Day: "Courage is the price that Life exacts for granting peace."- Amelia Earhart
Perhaps you remember Battle Ready. Perhaps not.
Anyway, this blog represents the beginning of a journey towards completeness. I will talk about all kinds of stuff, in all manners of speaking. I am prone to serious thought rife with intellectually arrogant ramblings, as well as vicious gibberish that combines various forms of vernacular. I enjoy using words of all sorts, because I look at language not as a rigidly-defined blueprint designed to control how we communicate, but as a gift of this universe that allows us to express ourselves in the most fundamental way. Sometimes, I'll be all "fuck this dude" but sometimes I'll be like "words words words."
Personally, I feel very disconnected from the rest of society. I feel like most of what we perceive in others, whether it be the sports we follow, the social media memes we share, the clothes we wear, the cliches we use, the various tragedies around the world that we choose to anger ourselves over, etc.... I feel like those are all distractions from what is the fundamental purpose of this universe, or reality. This universe, or dimension, or however we'd like to look at it, was created by us so that we'd have the ability to physically interact. Each of us exist in many (infinitely?) other dimensions (or universes, realities, etc.) simultaneously, and I believe that the bonds that we build and find in others are representative of that scenario. Without getting too deep (yet), I first bring up the concept of quantum entanglement- the idea in quantum mechanics that postulates that sub-atomic particles establish invisible bonds between each other after colliding, that cannot be seen or understood yet but result in information from one particle being able to be ascertained by observing the other.
My point?
As we are (fundamentally) just a jumbled mass of sub-atomic particles, constantly swirling around each other, possibly colliding and creating energy, or possible never colliding or touching in any manner, perhaps what we perceive as enemies, or acquaintances, or friends, or family, or soul mates (love), or beautiful art, etc. is actually just a manifestation of our ability to sense the radiation of a sliding scale of how many of our sub-atomic particles have a match in another person, or thing.
Like, the reason you love someone is that their "body" contains more matches (at the sub-atomic level) than other bodies, from whom your senses (sight, smell, etc.) are able to detect.
In that line of thought, what we "are" could be said to be a single perspective, a single thing, within us from which we are able to build our body, environment, etc. around us. Perhaps this is what we think of as the soul, or a Higgs boson, or something that we don't even have a clear enough understanding of to properly name or imagine.
From this baseline existence, which is simultaneous in many dimensions of perception, we have this physical world with which to interact. We ARE life, and we have always been "here," wherever here has been. We were here as dinosaurs, we were here as bacteria, amoebas, algae, apes, dogs, cats, worms, people (p.s. get ready to learn a lot about what "people" actually are- for instance, prepare yourself for convincing evidence that there were different species of "people" interacting and sharing culture with each other on this planet, and DNA evidence conclusively proves that there were more types of "people" than we actually know about yet)... What makes a being is the same in each of us, we are only at different levels of having built up the avatars with which we physically manipulate objects. In this universe. Still with me?
Good, because there's more. This is the case throughout this entire universe. There are more versions of "people" and "culture" than can even be imagined, because the number is always growing. As this universe is getting larger, more of us (life) are figuring out how to interact with this reality. It's almost like what we could consider a hologram, or a simulation. Essentially, it is, but it ALL is. In other realities, we do not have the ability to physically interact. Those universes and realities are governed by far different fundamental laws, but I suspect one of them (possible "the ether") is basically what you see when you close your eyes. It is filled with everything that can be perceived, but it can only be perceived. It is not physical, rather it's closer to a purely visual existence- this is the reason symbols are so important in THIS universe (more on that in later posts). We use visual symbols in that reality similarly to how we use language (or other forms of communication, such as music) in this one, and these symbols we learn to identify help us find our way through this physical universe. See, Astronomy and Astrology (real astrology, not the "you're gonna have a good day" crap).
An example is how we find our way to this world, or "earth." There is a reason why certain shapes and symbols and artistic expressions are more pleasurable (or satisfying) than others, and it relates to who we are and how we got there. Those born under a certain astrological sign are born thusly due to the route they needed to take to get here. So, you've just found yourself in this brand new (to you), physical reality with which you can interact. Drifting through "space," you're wondering where the action is... suddenly, you see a familiar shape. It is a shape formed by the pleasing arrangement of cleverly placed indicators (stars), and you head in the direction of the shapes that please you. You find yourself at earth, and as you close in to the planet, a brand new vehicle has just been completed for you and is being delivered in a hospital ward... as this vehicle pops out of a larger, more established vehicle, it breathes air for the first time and in you go. Now you have a vehicle. It's time to get to work. It's time to start physically interacting with this world and make it what you want it to be, because that's why it's here. It's time to have the courage to start arranging particles in a pleasing way, like others already are, to make this world as good as it can be. It's time to get ready. Time to get BATTLE READY!!!!! *puts on sunglasses, rides off into the sunset*
